Aromatic Cedar is native to:  Southeast Canada south to the Gulf Coast region as far west as Texas and the Midwest 

Aromatic Cedar/Juniperus virginiana, also known as eastern redcedar, red cedar, Virginian juniper, eastern juniper, red juniper, and other local names, is a species of juniper native to eastern North America from southeastern Canada to the Gulf of Mexico and east of the Great Plains. Wikipedia,  Aromatic Cedar is slow growing producing narrow boards with a pleasent scent dark knots an varigated colours of pink, blonde, deep red to dark brown knots.
